Michael Patience -
Associate Producer
Michael is co-founder of Vancouver-based
Titan Pictures and has spent the last
three years acting as producer and administrative
liaison to Titan’s various film
projects.
His work ensured the successful completion
and subsequent broadcast of the short
drama ‘The Terrible Old Man’
(2001) and the documentary ‘Chris
Woods Billboard’ (2002). Foreign
distribution rights to both films have
recently been acquired by Montreal-based
Domino Film and Television International
Ltd.
Michael is currently producing the short
film ‘Unrecoverable Error’
(2003). As well, two feature projects
are currently in development, ‘When
Annie Got Lucky’ and a film adaptation
of Newfoundland author Kevin Major’s
book ‘No Man’s Land’
about the ill-fated Newfoundland Regiment
at the Battle of the Somme in July 1916.
Michael was educated at the University
of Cambridge and the University of British
Columbia and holds a Masters Degree
in Classical Archaeology.
